WHERE TO SEE THE BEST FIREWORKS DISPLAYS ON JULY 4

As Independence Day quickly approaches, here are the best places to watch major fireworks displays across the country.

Nearly every big city in the US hosts a fireworks show to celebrate the 4th of July sometime between July 3 and July 6.

New York, California, and Washington DC are just three of the major locations known to put on nationally ranked fireworks shows each every year.

During the Independence Day celebration, attendees can curl up in a blanket or turn on their television to view these five legendary fireworks shows.

Macy's 4th of July Fireworks

The Macy's 4th of July Fireworks celebration lights up the New York City skyline across the Hudson River, which can be seen from New Jersey.

The fireworks will be launched from barges positioned along the Hudson River and create a show with viewing opportunities between West 14th and West 34th Streets in Manhattan.

Admission is free and the show is expected to start at 9:25 and last for about 30 minutes.

Viewers who don't want to leave their house can watch it on NBC or stream it on Peacock, with coverage beginning at 8:00pm.
