BLAKE LIVELY RAVES ABOUT 'MAKING FRIENDS' WHILE IN ITALY AS SHE SHARES SHE SEARCHED FOR 'VINTAGE TREASURES' AND ATE 'DELICIOUS FOOD'

Blake Lively is sharing her adventures in Capri, Italy where she filmed her new movie A Simple Favor 2.

The 36-year-old took to social media to reveal to followers that she loved making friends during her time spent in the Mediterranean country.

Blake posted a slew of pictures of her new companions to her Instagram Stories on Sunday.

In the first shot, The Gossip Girl alum smiled alongside jeweler Carlo Eleuteri, owner of the vintage jewelry shop, Eleuteri.

'When I travel I make friends,' Blake wrote across the selfie. 'Italy was no exception. Here are some of my favorites. Starting with Carlo of the iconic @eleuteri.'

She added, 'Anyone who knows me knows I’m a truffle pig for vintage treasures and delicious food. While I didn’t nibble anyone at @eleuteri I can confirm they deliver on vintage treasures.'

Next, Blake posed with a gelato cone in one hand and an ice cream scooper in the other as she stood beside a new pal—also holding a cup of dessert.

'Frabizo and family! We literally treated this gelateria as our nightclub,' the A Simple Favor star wrote as the Bee Gees song Stayin’ Alive played over the photo.

As for what their nightclub experience included?

As Blake put it, 'Dancing and scooping daily. Gettin’ crazy on pistachio and salted caramel. As you do.'

At the bottom of the snap, she gave a shout-out to the Bar Grotta Azzurra Anacapri 1970, tagging their Instagram handle: '@bargrottazzurra.'

But the fun didn't stop there, as Blake posted more travels, which included many more friends.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants alum shared a photo of herself and friends dining at Aurora restaurant.

'The wonderful Mia and her stunning daughter,' Blake gushed, before giving credit to her friend and film director Paul Feig, who directed her in A Simple Favor, for the night out.

'Thank you @paulfeig for introducing me to my new favorite place, Capri,' she noted, 'and, the most delicious and spectacular time at @auroracapri.'

The It Ends with Us star then shared a solo shot as she leaned against the wall outside, looking off into the distance with one hand in her pocket.

Blake wore a striped sweater, yellow cardigan, and baggy jeans, writing, 'My Capri fashion got real specific and fab' with a laughing face emoji.

She also boasted to followers about 'another fab meal' at Villa Margherita Capri.

Rounding out her time in Europe, Blake gave fans a look at her fashions while aboard.

'Get after those patterns girl,' the Age of Adaline actress joked beneath a close-up picture of her outfit.

Blake gave credit where credit is due, tagging Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Magnolia Pearl Clothing and Gucci.

As for her brown sweater? Well, she took a moment to thank Farella Capri for making 'the most spectacular handmade sweaters.'

'It made give some major moody face,' Blake added.

And before ending her travel snaps, the Hollywood starlet showcased another patterned sweater from Farella Capri.

Blake wrote: 'Insanely beautiful patterns and colors that mix and match so beautifully. It's like joy, in thread form.'

The Shallows actress' getaway comes on the heels of her starring as Lily Bloom in the adaptation of Collen Hoover's novel, It Ends with Us.

Blake took a moment to address fans directly, noting that there should be only excitement for the highly anticipated film, which also stars Justin Baldoni.

'Some people will always like a book better than a movie and some people like a movie better than the book,' she told Entertainment Tonight, 'but I think that we just did our best to honor the book and honor the fans, and, I think, really make something that works even by itself.'

'If you don't know the book, the movie works. I don't think there's any way that if you read the book and you saw the movie that you wouldn't be thrilled. We really worked hard on that,' Blake continued. 'I also believe if you saw the movie and then read the book, you wouldn't go, "Hold on, this isn't like [the other]." You can do either. I think they're both really beautiful.'

Colleen herself agreed with Blake's sentiments.

'Readers tend to always want to read the book first,' the author told ET. 'I completely understand that, but I feel like this adaptation has stayed so true to the book that it's actually either or, whatever you prefer. I think that you'll be happy if you watch the movie and then go into the book or vice versa.'

The story is based on Colleen's parents' relationship and will follow Lily Bloom (Blake) as she navigates a volatile relationship with Ryle Kincaid (Justin) amid the reappearance of her first love, Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar).

'This is the book that means the most with me,' Colleen admitted. 'I've tried to have other books adapted and it didn't quite go to fruition. I've been praying this would happen for four or five years now, so it just means so much to me. This book is the one that's personal to me, so to get to see it on screen [is meaningful]. I watched it for the first time with my mother, who inspired the story, so words can't express how amazing this whole experience is.'

Blake added about This Ends with Us: 'This story resonated with so many people, so there's a great responsibility that comes with that.'

'You want to honor this book and this character that people love so much, but you also want to bring a life and a humanity to it that is true to who you are,' she continued. 'It's a lot of different things that you want to accomplish in this story.'

And this film is something Blake is 'so proud of.'

'I'm just so proud to be here and sharing it with Colleen and the fans,' she said. 'It's just really special. It was a great honor to take on Lily, and I'm so proud.'
